Gilly is a towering stainless steel sculpture — 21 feet long and 16 feet high — that channels a primal, alien beauty. Its form is both sensual and wild, exuding raw power as it breathes hallucinogenic flames from dual mouths and along its sinuous spine. These vibrant firebursts, capable of reaching over 1,200°F, erupt in cascades of liquid light, wrapping the sculpture in an otherworldly aura of heat and color.

More than just visual spectacle, Gilly produces a synchronized soundscape as part of its combustion process. Each ignition resonates with a deep, rhythmic pulse that vibrates through the air, transforming fire into an elemental symphony. This harmony of sound and flame invites total sensory immersion, making the sculpture feel alive — pulsing, breathing, and utterly enthralling.

Gilly is the matriarch of a mythic family known as “the Twins” — a species of imagined creatures that evolve, split, and adapt like cryptic lifeforms. Its orientation is ambiguous, with a seamless, fluid structure that defies easy interpretation. Only the subtle forward tilt of its proboscis reveals its direction, inviting the viewer into its silent, intelligent presence — a living being shaped by fire, rhythm, and mystery.
