Commissioned by Insomniac for Electric Daisy Carnival and other major festivals, this towering radiant egg sculpture is a collaboration between visionary artist Michael Christian, Dallas Swindle and myself, with LumiGeek engineering over 60 integrated DMX light fixtures. The result is a monumental fusion of art and technology — a luminous creature with legs that seems to have emerged from another dimension.
More than a static installation, the sculpture pulses with energy and emotion. Its intricate 3D spatial light mapping fills the structure with cascading colors and shifting patterns, casting a glow that transforms its surroundings. As light ripples across its surface, the sculpture exudes a celestial presence, both hypnotic and transcendent.
XOD’s scale and spectacle make it a magnetic centerpiece at any event, but its true power lies in how it responds to its environment. It doesn’t just light up — it breathes with the rhythm of the crowd, becoming a living symbol of creativity, innovation, and shared experience.
